The role:
We operate six days a week, so the successful candidate will be expected to work on a rotating schedule from Monday to Saturday, working five days each week. (Working 1 in 3 Saturdays) This regional role covers the Midlands.
Duties:
· Gain entry to vehicles
· Making vehicle keys
· EEPROM – (not essential)
· Lock changes
· Van lock fitting – (not essential)
· Training on trackers and ghost alarms will be given to the right candidate
· Basic IT skills.
· A full driving license.
What you need to be successful:
· Experience and competence in either general locksmithing or auto locksmithing is essential, along with the ability to manage oneself.
· Picking and decoding locks
· Mechanical knowledge
· Fault finding
· Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
· Strong problem-solving skills.
· Ability to complete paperwork to a high standard with good accuracy.
· Customer-focused and friendly, with good communication skills.
· Good geographical knowledge of the Midlands.

The role:

Duties:
· Non Destructive Opening of the majority of common locks, ideally by the use of picks or lock bypass tools or in some case drilling small access holes into lock cases
· Ability to install into different types of materials including wood, metal and UPVC
· Understand the minimum insurance security standards, and provide a site survey to our customer, with any recommendations relayed to the client and to the office.
· Experience of UPVC window and door locks, including opening jammed or broken locking systems and installing suitable replacements. – Preferred but not essential
· Arrive on site at the specified time.
· Ensure the necessary tools and parts are available for the job, by maintaining a full inventory and correct stock levels.
· Maintain a high completion rate for jobs on the first visit, ensuring customer satisfaction.
· Complete all paperwork to the highest standard within tight deadlines and update both customers and the control centre accordingly.
· Present a clean and professional appearance at all times.
